About John Millei
John Millei is a Los Angeles-based painter whose work spans abstraction, figuration, and everything in between. Known for his bold, gestural surfaces and his refusal to be confined by a single visual language, Millei has built a body of work that is at once visceral and cerebral. His paintings have been exhibited widely and are held in private and institutional collections. He is regarded as one of the most original voices in contemporary American painting.
