About Amanda Ross-Ho
Amanda Ross-Ho (b. 1975, Chicago, IL) is a Los Angeles-based artist whose practice spans painting, sculpture, photography, and installation. Working across media, she mines the language of the studio, the domestic, and the everyday — transforming found and functional objects into works that are at once humorous, melancholic, and formally rigorous. Ross-Ho received her MFA from the University of Southern California and has exhibited widely at institutions including the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, and the Museum of Modern Art, New York. She is represented by Mitchell-Innes & Nash, New York, and is considered one of the most compelling conceptual artists working today.
